What you need to know when it come to my photography
Taking photos is so easy anyone can do it right? I mean there are a lot of photographers in my area and it seem that there are a couple popping up each month. Its not easy to pick who you want to take your important photos for you. You are probably wanting photos for a special occasion or maybe you just want to update your profession head shot. Again anyone with a good camera and post skills can get the job done but why risk it. Professional photographers want their clients and themselves protected. What do I mean Protected? You as the client have privacy rights just like I have copyrights. I want you as my client and I want you informed as to your rights as my client. In order for me to capture your photos and post edit them, I have to have your written consent. This is especially true if we are shooting in studio or other private location. Photos that are taken out in public aren’t considered private location, Outdoor park photos for example are considered shot in public view where studio shots are not. Either way as a client, you will need to complete my privacy consent form that allows me to take your photos. My form has options like posting on facebook or my website for marketing. If you choose for your photos not to be used in my social media & website marketing, you simply check the Do Not Use in Marketing box. I will still shoot your photos and deliver your digital copies to you, just won’t post them on any digital platform except on photosbychrista.com where only you will have access to your gallery secured via password. So rest assured that when you choose me as your photographer, I take your privacy rights seriously and provide you with professional service and quality.
